Seismic investigation for the characterisation of rock, weathering profile, and potential faulting to assist in the assessment of sub-surface conditions for road/wall/culvert upgrades.

13 lines of various length totalling 1.5km. Investigation was carried out using a “landstreamer” combined with a Seismic Weight Drop (SWD) system attached to a vehicle.

The investigation was undertaken on a narrow 2 lines road without any road closure.
